In the United States, heart disease is the leading cause of death, and every 40 seconds someone has a stroke¹. Treatment can be expensive, which is why APL offers our supplemental limited benefit plan to help with the financial costs of treating heart disease, heart attack, or stroke.

Highlights (Policy Form HD/A/S-2 Series):

• Provides benefits for certain losses incurred as a direct result of Heart Disease, Heart Attack or Stroke
• Guaranteed renewable for life, subject to change in premiums by class
• Benefits may be paid directly to the insured, or can be assigned to a chosen hospital, treatment facility, or physician
• Simplified underwriting
• Can be continued at no increase in cost when the insured leaves employment
